³⁵ There was a circular form 18 inches high above the base that the basin would rest in. It remained above the base, connected to the perimeter. ³⁶ Hiram carved winged creatures, lions, and palm trees onto the braces wherever he found space, and he surrounded them with garlands. ³⁷ All 10 of the stands were cast from the same mold, giving them all the same measurements and shape.
